Dr. Edward Lobo
Founder Member
Dr. Edward lobo, born and brought up in kulshekar,
Mangalore 25.2.1946, he completed his
early education in Padua high school,
Mangalore and St. Philomena college,
Puttur. He did his Medical Studies
in Sri Jayachamarajendra Institure of
Medical Studies, Bangalore in 1969.
Dr. Edward lobo began
his carrier by plugging into care of the sick people at Shankarapura in 1970.
He did no limit to the four walls of the
“Nirmala Clinic “ at Shankarapura. He Became the first Rotary President of Shankarapura, Being a man born and Brought up
in Christian faith Dr Lobo did involve himself activity in
various activities of the St. John’s Evangelist church Pangla. He is a member
of Vincent De Paul society. Catholic sabha, elected as vice president of St.
John’s Evangelist church Pangla.
In 1991 When Rev. Fr. J.P Tauro was a parish priest of St. John’s Evangelist
church Pangla. He first started MANASA
school and later 1992 another wing started in Shirva, and Dr.
Edward Lobo became the first correspondent
of MANASA special school .

1 Dr. Edward Lobo is an devotee of Mother Theresa . As he is
inspired by St. Mother Teresa. He was blessed to meet mother Teresa when she was alive, when she came to
Mangalore in 1995
