President Speaks

It is my privilege to present you the redesigned website of Manasa which includes all details and activities of special children. Serving these Special Children is like serving our Lord Jesus Christ. During the past 19 years many have given their unselfish service to this institution mainly Catholic Sabha Managalore and Udupi, All the Trustees and the past Presidents mainly, Dr. Edward Lobo, Late Mr. Augustine Gomes and Miss. Remedia D’souza. The hard work and dedication of these persons Manasa has grown to the present level and the responsibility is on my shoulders to continue the legacy. Manasa has received helping hand from many donors and institutions mainly Rev. Fr. Jeffrin Monis, Germany, Kindermissionswerk, Germany, Rev. Fr. Augustine Mendonca & associates, Canada. We have received guidance and support from Bishop of Mangalore Diocese Most Rev. Dr. Aloysius Paul D’souza, Bishop of Udupi Diocese Most Rev. Dr. Gerald Isaac Lobo, Rev. Fr. Mathew Vas, Spiritual Director Catholic Sabha Mangalore Pradesh and Rev. Fr. Ferdinand Gonsalves, Spiritual Director Catholic Sabha Udupi Pradesh. Special thanks to Congregation of the Sisters of Holy Spirit for their services in Manasa all these years. Our sincere thanks to Mr. Vinay Kumar Sorake, Hon. MLA and Ex Minister for Urban Development, Government of Karnataka and Mr. Pramod Madhwaraj Hon. MLA and Minister of Fisheries, Sports and Youth Affairs, Govt. of Karnataka. I sincerely thank all our donors well wishers and all people who helped us.
